How text message consent works
Last updated: September 16, 2026
1. Who this covers
Pivot AI Solutions, LLC operates call handling and text messaging for the dealerships below. Each is a separate business and its own registered sender. When you receive a text, it is from the dealership you contacted.
- Audi Cape Fear (Cape Fear Imports, LLC) — Wilmington, North Carolina — texts from (910) 348-7203
- Land Rover Cape Fear (Land Rover Cape Fear, LLC) — Wilmington, North Carolina — texts from (910) 665-7534
2. Consent is collected on the phone, not on a form
There is no website form and no keyword to sign up with, and no paper or QR code opt-in. There is exactly one way to opt in: a customer calls the dealership and is asked, out loud, on a recorded call.
3. If you call and speak to the assistant
Calls to the service line are answered by an automated assistant. The greeting states that the call is recorded. Once the assistant has confirmed the number to reach you on, it asks a single question, in these words:
Assistant
Would you like Land Rover Cape Fear to text you updates about this visit at that number? Message frequency varies, usually two to five messages per visit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Our terms and privacy policy are at pivot solutions dot A I.
Customer
Yes, that's fine.
The dealership's own name is used on its own line. Only a clear yes is recorded as consent; anything else is recorded as a no. The answer is stored against your customer record together with the recording of the call it was given on, so what was asked and what you said can both be produced later.
Agreeing is never a condition of having your vehicle serviced, and the assistant does not ask twice.
4. What is sent, and how often
Only messages about your own contact with the dealership:
- Confirmation that your service request was received
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Notice that your vehicle is ready for pickup
- Replies to questions you text us
No marketing, promotions, or offers are ever sent.
Message frequency varies, typically two to five messages per service visit, and none between visits. Message and data rates may apply.
5. Stopping messages, and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. You receive one confirmation and nothing after it:
Reply to STOP
Land Rover Cape Fear: You're unsubscribed and will receive no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.
Reply HELP at any time for help:
Reply to HELP
Land Rover Cape Fear: For help with your service visit, call (910) 332-3500. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
START resubscribes someone who previously replied STOP. It is not a way to sign up for the first time. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT all stop messages too.
6. Your information
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Service cover the messages themselves.
